Description
- In-charge of day to day Works and Projects controls coordination with the sole aim of ensuring Project objectives / targets are timely & satisfactorily achieved.
- Preparation and updating Project Control Procedures and strategy, and control of Scope of Works, Implementation Strategy, Bill of Quantities, Cost Estimates, Safety Risk Analysis, Budget Financial Risk Analysis and delivery Plan, etc. & presents same for approval; for each project and based on any specific Management requirements,
- Plan the Execution of each project by establishing Work Procedures for each work package from Conceptual Design, Engineering Dossier to Procurement, Fabrications/Workshop works, Site Mobilization Preparations, Site Construction, Site Installations, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning, Clients Documented Finished Works Acceptance, Site Demobilization and As-Built Documentation with particular emphasis on the Project control elements and coordination.
- Render periodic site activity / project performance reports as required by the entity with the view of identifying gaps between planned and actual performance and propose recovery plans, where required.
- Any other activities as may be assigned by the Projects & Works Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards
- Participate in monthly HSE committee meetings in the department.
- Ensure all Contractors under his/her supervision are well trained and aware of their HSE responsibilities with continuous monitoring.
- Ensure inclusion of all company HSE requirements in contracts and follow up with audits
- Identify and prepare bridging documents to cover HSE contractual gaps with Contractors
