Description
SERVICES OBJECTIVES 
  • Ensure safe supervision of all yard and offshore site construction activities comprising of fabrication, scaffolding, general blasting and painting works, piping and structural steel installation works, mechanical erection and decommissioning operations, controlled lifting, fitting and rigging operations for sites etc. 
  • Ensure that project activities are executed safely, in conformance to quality and within schedule and budget. 
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Ensure and promote the application of the Company HSE rules and specifications. 
  • Ensure that CONTRACTORs comply (at all times) with safety rules, taking actions as required in case of disregard of the rules, stopping the works if they are deemed unsafe, and organizing tool-box meetings and recovery plans. 
  • Promote safety culture within Company personnel and contractors as well as the reporting of anomalies 
  • Ensure and monitor the safety of personnel and installations as well as protection of the environment. 
  • Pursue within his team the HSE objectives defined by his line management. 
SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED (ACTIVITIES) 
  • Ensure that offshore site construction works are safely executed to the required project drawings and specifications. 
  • Ensure project QA/QC (quality assurance and quality control) measures are met. 
  • Ensure that materials for construction are of the required quality. 
  • Review installation procedures and inspect mobilized pre-fabs for consistency with the approved drawings and specification. 
  • Assist in developing checklist for site works and post- mobilization inspection. 
  • Review of contractor’s project deliverables e.g. ITP, Work Method Statement, QA/QC Plan, etc. 
  • Report Non conformances (NCR) to job standard and specifications and ensure any observed NCR reports are promptly closed out. 
  • Compile punchlist items and ensure prompt close out before final hand over of facility to asset owner. 
  • Verify that necessary documentation are completed before site mobilization. 
  • Ensure that valid PTW is available and validated for the job daily. 
  • Verify contractor’s equipment mobilized to site are those premobbed before use on site  
  • Prepare daily report of the project status with details of personnel, material and equipment on site. 
  • Analyze data/information generated on completed projects as a basis for improvement on future jobs 
  • Ensuring adherence to local and international health, safety, environmental codes and regulations at all times. 
  • To carry out any other duties/projects that may be assigned to the candidate by the hierarchy.
